LostInTx,

Whatever. The burrito does NOT sound gross. You just have bad taste! Nyah, nyah.

Cameron,

May you find what you're looking for in Davis. My heartfelt prayers are with you and your family.

Amanda,

Thanks for the recommendations. Those 2 restaurants are now officially on my radar. You should check out Garden of Taxco in West Hollywood.

While I admire your heartfelt letter, I think I would be satisfied with the cascading horchata. But seriously folks, I struggle with the same dilemma. Luckily, Guad awaits me in Davis.

That is hilarious!! I have one of those here in Austin. Everything you mentioned sounds exelente except the burrito.. that's so gross. I would call it very texmex but you are in Cali so I don't know what you guys would call that there. How about some tacos al pastor or enchiladas suizas (green chicken enchiladas) instead? :)Oooh, and I love horchata. Once at a bbq my friends didn't believe that I could make it so we went to the store right then and there (it was like 11pm or so) so I could buy the ingredients and make it. Hmmph. Never underestimate someone who loves food and drink as much as I do.
